Hello and welcome to my first blog post!
I've decided to start a little blog to give updates on how life running my small business is going - kind of like a studio diary of sorts!
If you've ended up here and you have no idea who I am, then hi, I'm Kate! I design and create my own range of greetings cards, which are a bit different from those you might usually find.
What makes them different you ask? Well there's two main things which make my cards stand out from the crowd:
1 - I absolutely love to create designs which are unique and a bit out there! I draw all of my designs myself and I really love themes such as animals and cute things. I do love to do more mainstream designs as well but I really enjoy making something a bit different!
2 - they can be fully personalised with your own text! This can be as simple as adding a name, or you can choose to go for it and have your own text on the card. So if you want to say something like: 'Happy 66th Birthday to the best Dad ever!', you can! It doesn't have to be a birthday card - it can be for any occasion, from weddings to new baby to happy retirement, to a simple 'thank you'!
It's great because it means you can easily find cards for people with more unusual names, and you can create an extra special message specially personalised for your favourite person (or people!).
They also make great keepsakes as well, for extra special occasions such as weddings and new baby. You can add names, dates, locations, a inspirational phrase... whatever you fancy!
