Personalising Your Card

Here's a brief summary of personalising a card on our website:

Every design can be personalised (unless stated).
You can choose your own text for the front and inside of the card.

Cards come blank inside as standard - if you would like a message inside, please enter it into the inside text box when ordering

If there's a number on the card, it can be changed to any number - it doesn't have to be a big milestone! Just select 'custom number' and enter the number you'd like into the outside text box.

If you can't see the relation you'd like on the drop-down list, just select 'custom relation' and enter the relation you'd like into the Outside Text box.

We can change certain colours on cards - so if you'd like the balloons, number or heart a different colour, we can do this for you! Just leave instructions for this in the notes box when you order. If you'd like a specific aspect of the design changing which will require redrawing, such as changing a cat design to look like your own pet, please contact us before ordering.

Can any card be personalised?

Every card on our website can be personalised with your own text inside and out unless stated.

Can you make this design look like my cat/dog/pet?

Kate is always happy to do custom designs! Please contact us before ordering if you'd like a custom design as extra payment may be required - if a card is ordered with a request to change specific parts of the design (which aren't text changes or simple colour changes) then your order may be cancelled so please do contact us before placing an order if you'd like something more custom. Examples of custom designs which will require extra payment are asking to change the design to look like a specific pet, like a cat or dog.

How many characters/lines can I use on my personalised product?

This depends on the design itself but most cards can have up to 3 lines of text and 15-20 characters per line.

Is there a choice of fonts?

The font shown on the card design is the one which your card will be printed with.

If you see another font on a different design which you really like, we're happy to change this for you on another card - just contact us so we can see what we can do for you.

Is the photo preview an exact representation of personalisation?

No - the general appearance of the personalisation and font size shown are a fair example of what you will receive.

Can I use emojis or special characters?

Unfortunately emojis and special characters cannot be included - please only use standard characters, letters or numbers. If an emoji is included with a message it won't be included on the final card - sorry!

Can I make changes to a personalised message after placing my order?

Please message us to check this - we may have already created your order, unfortunately we cannot change any messages once the order has been dispatched.

Can I cancel a personalised order?

You can cancel any order up to 1 hour after the order was placed as long as the order hasn't been dispatched. 

Can I have a preview of my personalisation?

We're happy to create a mock-photo for you before sending if you would like. Please leave this request in the notes upon purchase and we will email the preview to you.

Can I have a message printed inside the card?

We can print a message inside the card for you - please use the relevant boxes when ordering to state what text you'd like on the front and inside the card.
